I mitten av december släpptes den andra patchen till MapInfo Professional 11.0, och den har fått versionsbeterckning 11.0.3. För att ladda ner och installera denna patch kan man antingen gå till Hjälp-menyn i MapInfo Professional och välja ”Sök efter uppdateringar…” eller gå direkt till vår landningssida för 11.0.3.
Som vi tidigare nämnt släpper vi från och med nu tre patchar per år, där de i september och mars främst innehåller buggfixar medan den i december även bjuder på lite nyheter vad gäller funktionalitet. Innehållet i patchen 11.0.3 har beskrivs som vanligt i våra ”Release Notes” som också finns på landningssidan ovan. Bland fixarna kan nämnas att vi rättat vissa buggar i EasyLoader. Bland de nyheterna i funktioner kan nämnas följande:
- Förbättrad sortering i det nya tabellfönstret.
- Stöd för Googles bakgrundskarta för de organisationer som har Google Earth Enterprise Server.
- Utökat stöd för MWS-arbetsytan, bland annat vad gäller etiketter och genomsynlighet.
- Automatisk uppdatering av metadata lagrad i MapInfo Manager.
